Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff - they comfort me.
This is, in it's KJV translation, probably the most famous "walking verse" in the Bible. There will be dark valleys on our walk. God does not promise to keep us out of dark valleys or keep evil away from us. What God promises is even better - to be with us, to guide us, and to take care of us, as a shepherd cares for the flock.

Come Celebrate!
On Sunday March 30th, we will celebrate our arrival in Jerusalem with special music at our 10:30 service. Please plan to join us at Christ Church Episcopal, 5101 O'Malley, Rd, Anchorage, Alaska.
Where are we now?
At the end of week ten as of March 16th, we are 5530 miles into our journey, which means we are in Turkey and less than 500 miles from Jerusalem. We will walk through the Holy Land during Holy Week and should arrive in Jerusalem right on schedule by Easter.
